This video is part of a campaign to bring one of the most violent and inhuman people in the world to justice. Joseph Kony, of the Lord's Resistance Army, abducts young children from their homes in Uganda and other African nations to use as sex slaves and militants. He must be stopped.

Student Debt

Happy Women's Money Week!

Let me start off by saying that I am a Mechanical Engineer. This seems to cause most people to imply that I am smart. I would like to think that that is a true assumption. But if someone were to take a look at the amount of student debt that I have - they would probably think otherwise.

Tight-knit

I've been working on knitting a baby blanket for some friends who are expecting. Now, I have to say that I've been knitting for about "7" years or so, but I put the 7 in quotes because I've only really made scarves. And usually I start a scarf and never finish it. I'm pretty sure I have only ever completed one scarf and that was probably over 4 years ago. Anyways, I thought I would tackle the art of knitting again and maybe stick with it more this time since I am older and, hopefully, more up for sitting around for extended periods.
